New Signing – Elcock Joins for Run In

New Signing – Elcock Joins for Run In

Falmouth Town are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Andy Elcock.

Elcock signs from Southern League side Tavistock having initially signed as cover for FTFC after leaving Mousehole, that has now been made permanent and goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s match against Clevedon Town.

Prior to Tavistock, Elcock worked his way through Plymouth Argyle’s youth system before moving to play for Launceston, Bath City, Paulton Rovers, Cirencester and most recently Mousehole.

“From the outside looking in you can see the club is growing and on the up. Also having played against Falmouth a few times I know the support here is amazing! Elcock told falmouthtownafc.co.uk

“I’m a technical player with a good range of passing, I like to dictate the tempo of the game. I hope to bring even more experience to the team.”

“When a player of Andy’s experience, quality come available it is a no brainer getting him in” first team manager Andrew Westgarth said; “We have so many games in a short space of time to play, 8 in 28 days, so the squad is going to be tested.” Having won the Western League with Mousehole last season and played at a higher lever it will be great having him at the club for the run in”
