Falmouth Town bowed out of the 2024/25 Isuzu FA Trophy after a 3-1 defeat today, at fellow Southern League side Mousehole. The only Town goal came from Cam Hutchison in the fourth minute. Despite some great football, Mousehole gained the upper hand and were worthy of their win. We would like to wish them the best of luck in the next round. Falmouth Town can confirm that Tom Fisher suffered a broken ankle in yesterday’s match against Thatcham Town at Bickland Park. Falmouth Town overcame our fellow Southern League Div1(S) opponents Cinderford Town in front of a large crowd this afternoon in their first FA Trophy game since 1981. Cinderford Town started strongly causing problems for the Falmouth defence. However, a first half goal against the run of play on the stroke of half-time by Luke Brabyn sent Falmouth in at the break at 1-0 up. A further goal from Rubin Wilson after a defensive slip made it 2-0 part way through the second half and another last-minute goal on 91 minutes from Oscar Massey, saw us into the next round.
