MATCH PREVIEW – BASHLEY v FALMOUTH TOWN
Falmouth Town will be on the road with a visit to Bashley on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 – K.O. 3:00pm. This game was due to be our first Southern League game, but was unfortunately postponed due problems with Bashley’s pitch.
Bashley gained promotion to the Southern League at the end of the 2021/22 season from the Wessex League Premier Division, after an absence of six years. Previous to this, Bashley were members of the Southern League from 1989 to 1999, when they were transferred to the Isthmian League, where they spent two seasons. Bashley were then transferred back to the Southern League where they remained until the end of the 2015/16 season, when they were relegated to the Wessex League.
So we can expect a very competitive game with a well seasoned Step 4 club. This will be our third game in the Southern League, and our first away match following games against Willand Rovers and Tavistock at Bickland Park.

Directions
- From BOURNEMOUTH, take the A35 from Bournemouth, continue through Christchurch on the A35. About 6 miles from Christchurch turn right onto the B3058 towards New Milton. Head north out of the town, the ground is on the right immediately after Redcliff Garden Centre.
- From SOUTHAMPTON, take the A35 towards Bournemouth and continue through Lyndhurst towards Christchurch. Turn left onto the B3058 towards New Milton. The ground is on the left and car park 100 metres further on, on the right.
