FALMOUTH TOWN – PRE SEASON FRIENDLIES

Falmouth Town will begin our pre season friendlies on Friday, July 4th wit a visit to Lux Park, home of Liskeard Athletic – K.O. 7:45pm. This will be followed by games against Penzance, St Blazey, Truro City and Briton Ferry.

The Truro City game will see the winners lift the Aubrey Wilkes Trophy, a tradition which goes back many years.

Finally, we will entertain Briton Ferry of the Cymru Premier League, at Bickland Park in a repeat of last years game on Friday, July 25th – K.O. 7:45pm.

Falmouth Town have been drawn at home to Helston Athletic in the FA Cup and away to Westbury United in the FA Trophy. If we win these games, we will be home to Bideford or Wellington in the FA Cup and away to Brixham in the FA Trophy.

MATCH PREVIEW – FALMOUTH TOWN v BISHOPS CLEEVE

Falmouth Town will be in Southern League action when we welcome high flying Bishops Cleeve to Bickland Park on Tuesday, April 8th – K.O. 7:45pm.

Our last encounter at Bishops Cleeve back in October ended in a 1-0 win for the home side. As things stand, eighteen points separate the two sides, with Bishops Cleeve on 65 points from 37 games and Falmouth Town on 47 points from 35 games. We will be looking to build on our recent results and climb further up the league table. Bishops Cleeve on the other hand, will be looking to retain their current postion in the play-off places. We can expect a competitive and exciting match between two inform teams. Make sure you don’t miss this one!
