Falmouth Town took another step towards the Toolstation Western League title with a 1-0 win over Wellington this evening. The only goal came from Tom Annear in the 87th minute, who was also awarded Man of the Match. This leaves us in second place with 69 points from 29 games, level with league leaders Helston Athletic who have 69 points from 28 games, but lead on goal difference. This result ensures us at least a place in the promotion play-offs. This promises to be an exciting run in to end of the season.

Falmouth Town came back from 1-0 down to achieve a 3-1 victory at The Mill on Tuesday, February 20th with goals from Bradley Leivers, Rubin Wilson and Oscar Massey. This leaves us third in the Western League Premier Division table with 48 points from 22 games. We now look forward to our trip to Wellington on Saturday, February 24th.
