MATCH PREVIEW – BRISTOL MANOR FARM v FALMOUTH TOWN

Falmouth Town will travel to Bristol Manor Farm when we return to Southern League action on Saturday, September 28th, 2024.

Bristol Manor Farm joined the what was then the Southern League Division 1 West (Division 1 West became Division 1 South in 2018) as Western League Premier Champions at the end of the 2016/17 season. They were promoted from the Western League Division 1 to the Western League Premier Division at the end of the 1982/83 season, the year we left the Western League, so this will be our first league encounter and our first ever visit to The Creek.

Falmouth Town and Bristol Manor Farm have met three times in cup competitions. In the 1986/87 FA Vase, we beat them 1-0 in the 1st Round at Bickland Park. The 2002/03 season saw us play Bristol Manor Farm twice at Bickland Park, once in the FA Cup Preliminary Round and once the FA Vase 1st Qualifying Round, resulting in a 2-0 victory and a 4-2 victory repectively.

We are currently tenth in the league table with seven points from four games, while Bristol Manor Farm are lying third in the table with ten points from five games.
