Falmouth Town exited this year’s Isuzu FA Vase after a 2-0 defeat at Great Wakering Rovers in Essex on Saturday. The two goals came from Great Wakering Rovers’ Harry Talbot. It’s been a fantastic journey and we wish Great Wakering Rovers the best of luck in the semi finals.

Falmouth Town will be travelling to deepest Essex when we visit Great Wakering Rovers for our Quarter Final match in the Isuzu FA Vase on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 – K.O. 3:00pm. Although Great Wakering Rovers’ recent results in the Essex Senior League have included a 3-0 win over Buckhurst Hill (February 20th) and a 1-0 defeat to top of the league Tilbury (February 27th), their FA Vase journey has been equally impressive with wins over

We are currently third in the Western League Premier Division, while Great Wakering Rovers are ninth in the Essex Senior League. Great Wakering Rovers have played in both the Southern League and the Isthmian League (Step 4), so we can expect a very competitive game. We last reached the Quarter Finals in the 1986/87 FA Vase when we lost in a replay 1-0 at St Helens. Great Wakering Rovers have reached the FA Vase Quarter Finals twice, losing to both Potters Bar Town 1-0 in 1997/98 and AFC Sudbury in 2001/02.
