CRIBBS 2-2 FALMOUTH TOWN

CRIBBS 2-2 FALMOUTH TOWN

Falmouth Town gained an early lead through an own goal by Cribbs defender, Reece Hedges. Despite some great chances and controlling much of the game, the first half finished 1-0 to Town. Cribbs opened the scoring in the second half with a superb overhead kick by David Duru. Just six minutes later, and Cribbs were back in front after Bailey Croome scored stright from a corner. Town made several substitutions with Andreas Calleja-Stayne, Jared Sims & Luke Barner making way for Jack Webber, Cam Hutchison & Rubin Wilson respectively. With time rapidly running there was some late goal action when Bradley Leivers scored a stunning header on 85′ to level the score. With five minutes of added time, Town kept pressing, but the score remained at 2-2 at full-time. This result leaves us eighteenth in the table, just above the relegation zone, but a point is a point. The Man of the Match award goes to Bradley Leivers.
