HELSTON ATHLETIC v FALMOUTH TOWN – POSTPONED

Unfortunately, Falmouth Town’s match at Kellaway Parc on Friday. March 29th has been postponed due to the effects of the recent weather. We’re naturally disappointed not to be playing Helston Athletic and we’ll publish the new date for the rearranged fixture as soon as we know it.

THIS FIXTURE HAS NOW BEEN REARRANGED TO TAKE PLACE ON THURSDAY, APRIL 18th, 2024 – K.O. 7:45pm.

However, all is not lost for the Easter weekend, we still have Welton Rovers v Falmouth Town in the Western League on Monday, April 1st – K.O. 3:00pm.

Falmouth Town will continue their quest in the Western League title challenge, when we take on the current leaders Helston Athletic at Kellaway Parc on Good Friday, March 29th, 2024 – K.O. 3:00pm. We go into this game on the back of our recent wins over Street, Nailsea & Tickenham and Bridgwater United. Only six points seperate the two sides. We have 60 points from 26 games, while Helston have 66 points from 27 games. Both sides will be going for the win, so this promises to be an exciting encounter, and both sides have an impressive league record. The recent league form is shown below:

Falmouth Town will be home to Nailsea & Tickenham on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 – K.O. 3pm, as we continue our league title campaign. We go into this game on the back of our impressive 4-1 away win at fellow title chasers Bridgwater United last Saturday, a result which leaves us third in the league table, with 54 points from 24 games. It looks like being an exciting run in to the end of the season. Nailsea & Tickenham have had recent wins over Oldland Abbotonians, Welton Rovers and Millbrook. Falmouth Town are in league action on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, K.O. 3pm, when we welcome Brixham AFC to Bickland Park. We go into the game looking to bounce back from our defeat at St Blazey on Wednesday January 31st. We have had wins over Hartpury University and Welton Rovers, while Brixham recently beat Saltash 3-1 and were unfortunate to lose to North Greenford United on penalties in the FA Vase.
