FALMOUTH TOWN RESERVES 1-1 (4-2 PENS) SALTASH UNITED RESERVES

Falmouth Town Reserves added the St Piran’s League Champions Cup to this season’s haul of trophies by beating Saltash United Reserves 4-2 on penalties at Wadebridge Town’s Bodieve Park last night.

The match was a tight affair, finishing 1-1 after 90 minutes, with Town’s goal coming from Evan Tresidder’s firt half strike. Saltash fought back in the second half to even the score. Town’s penalty scorers were Jak Davies, Kirk Davies, Max everall & James Henwood.

We now look forward to our next cup final, when we take Illogan RBL in the Tracy Banfield Cup at Wendron United on Tuesday, May 20th – K.O. 7:30pm.

FALMOUTH TOWN RESERVES 10-1 ST AGNES

Falouth Town Reserves completed our Kernow Stone St Piran League campaign last night with a stunning 10-1 victory over St Agnes.

Before the kick off, St Agnes formed a guard of honour and applauded our team onto the pitch, which was a nice touch. Many thanks to St Agnes for that.

Three players; Kian Thomas, Jak Davies and Evan Tresidder all knothed up hat tricks, with the tenth goal coming from Tom Fisher. St Agnes’ goal was as a result of a first half penalty decision. We now sign off from the St Piran League and move up to the South West Peninsula League for the 2025/26 season.

After the match, the players and management were presented with their winners medals by our Southern League Team Coach – Tommy Matthews.

We now look forward to the Cornwall Intermediate Cup final against Kilkhampton at Wadebridge F.C. on Sunday, May 4th – K.O. 4:00pm.

FALMOUTH TOWN – ST PIRAN LEAGUE (WEST) CHAMPIONS

Falmouth Town Reserves were crowned St Piran League (West) Champions 2024/25 after a convincing 3-1 victory over local rivals Wendron United Reserves last night at a very wet Bickland Park. Falmouth Town’s goals came from Jak Davies, Evan Tresidder and Kian Thomas, while Ryan Reeve scored for Wendron United.

Our reserve team will now compete in the Walter C. Parson Peninsula League from the beginning of the 2025/26 season.
