FALMOUTH TOWN 2-0 TORPOINT ATHLETIC
An entertaining game to watch last night, at least while Falmouth had possession. When Torpoint had the ball it it was a different story! It was relentless long ball up to to their forwards. Falmouth, with James Ward, Bradley Leivers, Tom Annear and Kayden Gordon-Dunn at the back lapped this up as they were far superior to the Torpoint attack in the air.
It looked like a frustrating evening for the talented Ryan Richards, and later on, James Lorenz. Both of whom would probably score a hat-full in this Falmouth Town side.
Cam Hutchison, who scored both goals, is coming along nicely now as he gets more game-time. He always looks dangerous when taking on defenders from outside the area and now seems to have found his range with the resulting shots on goal.
A young line-up for Town also with at least 5 starting players being under 20 and all of them looking very capable at this level.
