Yesterday I headed down to Cornwall to visit Falmouth Town for their Southern League Division One South game against Barnstaple Town.
And this was a really enjoyable night of non-league football.
A good game, a decent crowd and a great atmosphere made for a brilliant visit — and the welcome from Ruth and her team at Falmouth Town was excellent. It's always nice to arrive at a club and immediately feel so welcome.
But this visit also marks the start of a new Mullered Sports project.
I'm going to be ground grading and ranking the grounds I visit, looking at things such as the viewing experience, facilities, atmosphere and everything else that makes a non-league ground worth visiting.
And Falmouth is Ground #2, following my first assessment at Tiverton Town.
So, how did Falmouth score?
And where does it currently sit compared with Tiverton?
